Way back in November, Kylie Jenner released her first three liquid lipstick kits. I knew from the very first announcement I just had to have at least one, and if you read the post I wrote about them,you'll know that I was absolutely head over heels. When Kylie teased fans with the photos of the new shade Posie K, I was just as obsessed as I had been the first time. Posie was a beautiful, darker, dusty rose shade compared to the nudes she first released. I never expected her to do two more shades for what was first called the 'valentine' collection. I did predict the date and time she would put them on sale, though...

If you've been reading my blog for a little while, you might have noticed I've been moaning about my skin a lot over the past few months. I just can't figure out what it is that has given me such bad acne... At first I was blaming my pill - as I was getting huge cystic spots around my chin. But I took myself off it and had even more side effects than just the acne I was experiencing. It made me wonder whether that was even the culprit, or whether it was a mixture of a bad diet and not looking after myself enough. I'm still not very sure what caused the horrific acne I was experiencing but this Grease Lightning Spot Treatment from Lush has made the world of difference to my skin over the past few weeks.

♥ Urban Decay X Gwen Stefani Eyeshadow Palette | Review

Last week I mentioned the new eye shadow palette from Urban Decay that they have released in collaboration with Gwen Stefani. When I was a kid my dad would always listen to No Doubt and he loved Gwen, and then when she released her own music, I was obsessed. I remember buying her album and listening to it time after time and never ever getting bored of it. Gwen's style has always been something else, and I love that about her. When I caught wind of this release I was so surprised. It was nothing like I expected and I wasn't too interested initially, but then the reviews and videos and swatches began to surface and my opinion completely changed...

♥ Six Big Things for 2016

On the first of January 2015, I posted the fifteen things I wanted to accomplish that year. I feel like reflecting on that post was really helpful and let me know some of my capabilities and some of the things I must try to do better and what I can change within myself to have a happier and more positive 2016. A few of the things on the list just didn't get done, but that's okay, because instead of going to a European city on my own, I got to experience Rome (photo diary here) with one of my best friends. Every cloud has a silver lining, right? This year, the post is a little late but I was so so busy in January that I just couldn't sit down and write, but I've finally got around to thinking about the things I want to achieve in the coming year. Instead of thinking of sixteen little things I hope to achieve, I've chosen six rather big goals to aspire to. Here they are:

♥ Spring Beauty Wishlist

Spring is creeping up on us quite quickly and I really can't wait. I absolutely despise Christmas time and the winter and I long for warmer weather and not having to layer up. I also can't wait to change up my skincare routine and makeup for things that are spring/summer appropriate! Take a look at the bits I'm lusting over below.

January has been so tough. The first two weeks I was restricted to my universities library and writing assignments for the first semester of my third and final year at Falmouth University. I'm now at home,  though, as I had a few weeks to spare until the stress of second semester starts and it means I'm rather restricted when it comes to how much stuff I actually have access to. But here are a few of the things I just had to bring home with me and the items I've been using time after time!
