♥ Zoeva Classic Face Brush Set | Review

I don't think there will ever be a brush brand I love more than Zoeva. I absolutely adore their line. The make up brush sets are such good value for money and the quality of each and every brush is just outstanding. Last summer, I bought the 12 piece Complete Eye Brush Set, and once I'd figured that they were really worth the price tag, I knew that this brush set was next on my wishlist. I purchased the eye kit myself, but this set was actually a christmas present from Theo, my boyfriend. It's the only thing I asked for and I wasn't sure I'd even get them, but I was so so happy when I opened them.

The set consists of six brushes and retails at £52.95 on Beauty Bay and they always throw in a freebie, too, so it's definitely worth purchasing them through this website. The set consists of:

The Silk Finish Foundation Brush, perfect for foundation application that is streak free and natural looking. It's a lot like the Sephora Multitasker I bought in Rome, but it has a bit more movement to it, it's also not too dissimilar to the Real Techniques Buffing Brush, another brush I adore for putting on my foundation. In the kit there's also a Luxe Highlight Brush, ideal to highlight the top of your cheek bones, or powder under the eyes after concealing, is also included. This and my Mary Lou Manizer from theBalm are a match made in heaven. The Powder Brush in the set is a typical powder brush - big and fluffy and picks up product lightly to keep you looking natural and anything but cakey. I'm actually not a fan of this brush at all, and I much prefer my Real Techniques Duo Fibre Face Brush for setting my foundation but that's just because it's what I'm used to, I might try this with bronzer, though. Zoeva's Petit Stippling Brush is the cutest little stippling brush and would be perfect to apply cream blush or highlight with. I use it for blending concealer under my eyes and it blends a dream, I really love it and I might have to get a cream highlight just because I love this brush! The Luxe Sheer Cheek Brush applies blush like nothing else. It's so soft and not at all dense, meaning that you can blend and blend product away if you go to heavy handed, leaving you with perfectly blended cheeks. Finally, the kit contains the Concealer and Buffer Brush (this one is also in the eye brush set) and this is perfect for buffing in concealer around the nose and eyes. It gets into every little crevice and leaves no lines whatsoever. It's a lovely mini buffing brush and I'm sure I can find a few more uses for it eventually.

If you're thinking of investing in make up brushes, I would certainly check out Zoeva. They might seem costly when you're buying an entire set but when you break it down to each individual brush they don't work out too expensive at all and they really are excellent quality.

Now I just need to get myself a few of their new palettes!

    1. The other Zoeva set I have is the newer rose gold version, with the pale pink handles and I'm obsessed! I've never tried Eco Tools but loads of my friends have and they sing their praises, so I must get ahold of some!
