♥ Five Under Five

I love a little bit of luxury make up, and we all tend to spend a little too much on lipstick or foundation or another eye shadow palette from time to time.. But there are still so many incredible products on the high street that cost so little. I thought I'd mention a few things I can't live without, that come in at under five quid!

First lets get the boring lip balm out of the way, I am always picking up the Nivea Hydro Care lip balm and it has SPF in it, so it's ideal all year round. It's the nicest balm I've ever found and it's so smooth and creamy in consistency. I get through one of these every few months and they're almost always on offer for around £1. Also for the lips, I'm totally smitten with the Essence Lip Liners. I have the shades Wish Me A Rose and Satin Mauve and they are so smooth in texture. They don't tug on the lip at all and they really pack a lot of punch. The shade range isn't too extensive, but they are a must have as they only cost £1 each. I went off dry shampoo for such a long while, but i'm trying to train my hair to go around three days without a wash, but now I'm in the habit of going to the gym all the time, I use the COLab 'invisible' Dry Shampoo to freshen up my hair after a work out. At £3.49 they're not as cheap as the others on the market but this leaves no nasty white residue which can be a nightmare to brush out of darker hair, so this is the only I always buy now! My favourite, favourite concealer is the Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer. I prefer it over every other one I've ever tried - even the Estee Lauder Double Wear one I've been testing out. It's just over the £5 mark, but I'm pretty certain you can pick it up for cheaper in Wilkinsons or on offer in the drugstore! I have this is quite a few shades as I love the lightest shade to go under my eyes and then a darker shade for my blemishes. Another item I use without fail every day is the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder. I have loads of these lying around because the packaging always breaks, which is annoying as anything, but it's so so affordable and brilliant at keeping oil at bay throughout the day that it doesn't bother me too much. Finally (as there's another product I must mention) I thought I'd include the Garner Micellar Water in this post. This comes in at £4.99 when it's not on sale and my bottle has lasted me forever. I use this to take off eye makeup if I've had a lot on, or to remove my makeup before properly cleansing, I use it to clean up mascara mistakes or eyeliner, and I think it's such a great cleanser and doesn't leave the skin feeling stripped. I think they've released a new micellar water and I am desperate to try that one and compare it to this.

Leave a comment below and let me know you're must have product that comes in at under £5, chances are I'll give it a go! Thanks for reading - and for all the comments on my MAC post! There were tons!
