♥ High End Foundation Wishlist

Sadly, I'm nearing the end of my Estee Lauder Doublewear Foundation. I bought it in September after hearing loads of rave reviews on its coverage and lasting power. I loved it, and I'll no doubt purchase it again at some point. But right now, I'm after a foundation that's a bit more dewy and natural looking. Double Wear is my go to for long days out. It stays in place and covers my bad acne reasonably well. It's great but it's the finish of it that I just can't stand at the moment. It's far too matte and leaves my face looking flat and lifeless. Because of this, I'm looking to purchase a different foundation and to get exactly what it is I'm after. I'm prepared to spend a bit more to get a foundation that's going to look flawless, cover every imperfection and still make me look as radiant as possible in the warmer summer months, so here are the few I'm thinking of picking up:

Firstly, I'm going to mention the Nars Sheer Glow foundation (£31). I remember finding out about this years ago when I first got into Youtube. It's what Zoella would use when she wasn't using the Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation (which I bought and loved because of her), but now that I have a bigger budget to work with I'm convinced this must be a good product too. Nars insist that it is 'a glowing, natural radiant finish foundation with sheer and buildable coverage that immaculately evens skin tone' which sounds pretty perfect to me and with the added skincare benefits that hydrate and smooth the skin, who wouldn't want this in their life? It's probably the foundation I'm drawn towards most. The rave reviews of the Giorgio Armani Maestro Glow Foundation (£40) have also got me convinced this would give me super glowy skin. I'm after something super natural and soft looking on the skin but buildable in coverage and this is supposed to 'enhance the complexion with a fresh, natural looking radiance'. Last on my wishlist is the Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat Foundation (£32.50). This one is another that is meant to leave a lovely dewy base because of the 'magic light-reflecting formula' concealed inside. This is probably my second most wanted from the list and one I'm really going to look into when it's time to bite the bullet. I think it's such a classic and coming from YSL, it must be good.

If you've tried any of these foundations or have a better alternative that you think would be great for me to try out, please please please leave your recommendation in a comment. A girl's gotta have dewy skin for summer, right?!

Em x
